This article is reminding me how much I did love this man. I literally have waited 50+ hours in line for tickets to his solo concerts. And it was worth it.

Of course this feeling got real jaded quick when I saw him at Fashion’s night club in Redondo Beach. He was not tall. (Yes Jen, its a thing for me) The internets say he’s around 5’10”. Hmmmm. I’m 5’5″ and he looked a touch taller than I. Not hot. And he had more foundation than I have ever had in my entire life.

Sigh.

Ah to have been born just a few years earlier where I could have actually heard The Smiths in concert. From a distance. And looking up not realizing how short he really is.
